What these appointments are

Vitamin injection appointments provide an injection of a vitamin preparation to adults assessed as suitable. They are not a medical consultation, diagnosis or test, and they do not diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any illness or condition. No health, energy, immunity, weight, hair, skin or wellbeing outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Consultation and suitability

Every client completes a health questionnaire and consultation before a first appointment. Your medical history, medication, allergies and previous reactions are discussed. Treatment will not be offered where it is not appropriate, and you may be asked to speak to your GP first.

Who should not book

• Anyone under 18
• Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding
• Anyone with a known allergy to the preparation or its ingredients
• Anyone with a relevant medical condition or medication interaction identified at consultation

Possible effects

As with any injection, there may be temporary discomfort, redness, bruising or swelling at the injection site. Rarely, allergic reactions can occur. Aftercare information is provided at your appointment.
